In this 1.5-hour workshop, you'll get an introduction to the body's physiological response to stress; a gas pedal, brake pedal model of nervous system regulation; and a suite of breath techniques to guide the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) into an optimal state for your current needs.  

You'll leave this workshop with access to a video library of the techniques applied so you have continued support while you sharpen your techniques. Specific techniques optimize for increasing energy, decreasing energy, balancing ANS and creating a robust immune system.

This strange and wonderful holotropic breathing technique can allow practitioners to experience deep emotional release, and it's a very effective way to manage stress and anxiety and promote overall wellbeing.

We think of breath techniques as being relaxing. Although the overall effect of this practice can allow us to let go in profound ways and it's done from a supine (laying down on the back) position, the technique itself is very physically rigorous.

**Igniting Breathwork is contraindicated for epilepsy or seizure disorders, glaucoma, detached retina, recent eye surgery, history of aneurysms, severe mental health disorders (like bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia, or complex PTSD), and pregnancy (especially the first trimester). Additionally, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and some respiratory conditions may require caution or modification. Please ask questions early and often. We want practitioners to go into this experience with eyes fully open.
